Canvas Prints FAQs
A few more questions customers often ask about photographs, collages, production, delivery and returns.
Can I use a photograph from my phone?
Yes. Modern phones can produce excellent photographs for canvas printing. Whenever possible, send us the original photograph rather than a screenshot or compressed version.
Do I need to crop my photograph before sending it?
No. You don't need to crop or edit your photograph yourself. We'll prepare and crop your image as necessary to suit the canvas size you've selected.
For example, if you send a square photograph and order a 16 × 12 canvas, we'll crop the photograph appropriately for the finished canvas.
Can I use an old or printed photograph?
Yes. Simply take a clear photograph of your old photo and upload it with your order. We can work from photographs of older prints and will prepare the image for your canvas.
If you're local, you can also bring your old photograph into McGee's Photo Centre, Killybegs, Co. Donegal, and we'll scan it professionally for you free of charge.
Can I make changes after seeing my collage preview?
Yes. The preview gives you the opportunity to check your collage before it is printed. If you'd like photographs moved, wording changed or another adjustment made, let us know before approving the design.
How quickly will I receive my collage preview?
We aim to send your collage preview within 24 hours once we have received your photographs and order details. During particularly busy periods, it may occasionally take a little longer.
How long does it take to dispatch my canvas?
Once any required artwork has been approved, your order moves into production. We aim to dispatch completed orders as quickly as possible, normally within the stated production timeframe.
How long will delivery take?
Delivery times depend on the delivery service and destination. Please see our Shipping & Delivery page for the current delivery information.
Can I order a canvas for a particular date?
Yes. If you need your canvas for a birthday, wedding, anniversary, Communion, Christmas or another specific date, please allow enough time for production and delivery.
If the date is particularly important, check the current delivery information before ordering.
Can I return my personalised canvas if I change my mind?
Because your canvas is personalised and made specifically for you, personalised products cannot normally be returned simply because you change your mind.

What if I want several photographs on one canvas?
If you'd like several photographs combined into one finished design, our Canvas Photo Collages are designed for this.
